I miss that sweet torquey V6 diesel powered wagon. Even if it’s a big boat I love this car. My brother not so much apparently (he’s learning to drive on it). It’s a 2001 Passat V6 TDI, it has 150 hp and almost 230 lb-ft of torque (or 310 Nm in non retarded units). It’s the less powerful of the V6 TDI Passats, and only FWD. Mated to a 6-speed manual. It’s a German-market car so it has a bunch of stuff the French Passats didn’t have, like the trim (Highline). That picture was taken just before I left France and just after we put those sweet new Borbet on.
